As of early 2026, Medlin Software has begun integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance our software, documentation, support services, and website. Our goal is to use these tools to better serve you, without losing the personal touch you expect.
At Medlin Software, a real person replies to every message. We use AI-based text tools to help us explain solutions more quickly and in “plain English.” Often, AI can take a complex technical process and rephrase it so that it is easier to follow.
Continuous Improvement: For example, when testing how to explain “how to delete a paycheck,” the AI suggested helpful notes that we have now officially integrated into our documentation.
The Medlin Promise: We have no plans to replace our human staff with AI. You can be certain that every reply you receive was crafted and verified by a human.
While we are beginning to use AI to assist in our development process, all final code at Medlin Software is created or vetted by humans. We use AI primarily for generating initial frameworks and as a high-level review tool.
We tested a long-standing piece of code with an AI tool. The AI suggested adding an error check—which seemed helpful at first—but that specific check was already handled more efficiently in a different part of the software.
This reinforces why we always hand-code: no tool can currently match the concise, holistic understanding of an experienced human coder.
| Feature | Role of AI | Role of Human |
|---|---|---|
| Support | Drafting clear explanations. | Reviewing, personalizing, and sending replies. |
| Documentation | Suggesting “plain terms” and notes. | Rnsuring accuracy and final approval. |
| Coding | Generating frameworks and reviews. | Writing, editing, and final vetting. |
| Logic | Identifying potential edge cases. | Understanding the “big picture” architecture. |
Note: We believe AI is a powerful assistant, but it will never replace the accountability and expertise of the Medlin team.
