•For many states, you can use the Quarterly Listing, and/or a combination of other reports such as the Payroll Tax Summary, to obtain the figures you will need.

•Most tax agencies have online forms you can fill in and print.

•For certain states, we have specific reports or eFile options - see the next several topics.

Monthly Reports

•A few states require monthly electronic reporting.

Annual Reports

•Review the W-2 section of the software and program help.

NOTES

•Many states do not offer a means to test the file's format in advance.

•If your file is not accepted, contact us via email.

•The State Tax Calculation of the first employee determines which, if any, state specific items are offered on the Report screen.
