•To add a new data folder for a new client (set of books), click 'File', then 'Add New Data Folder'.

•Follow the prompts on the screen.

Folder Structure

•For each client, a new folder is created in the Medlin Software program's folder.

•To find out which folder Medlin Software was installed into, click the 'Help' tab.

• If Medlin Software was installed using the default settings, the folder structure would be:

•C:\MWACCT  (contains the Medlin Software program files)

•C:\MWACCT\SMITH  (contains data for client SMITH)

•C:\MWACCT\JONES  (contains data for client JONES)

Deleting Clients / Data Folders

•For safety, Medlin Software has no built in 'delete data folder' function.

•If you must delete a client's data, you can use Windows to delete the particular client's data folder.
