Medlin Payroll Software is available in two editions.
•The Classic Edition is the continuation of Medlin Payroll Software which has been available since 1984.
•If you are preparing your own payroll and paying via direct deposit, using compatible check forms/blanks, or by manually writing checks, the Classic Edition is likely to be the best fit.
•The Professional Edition is for those who have a more complicated payroll or are preparing payroll for others.
•The Professional Edition includes all features and functions from the Classic Edition, plus functions and features only available in the Professional Edition.
•A second pay rate and department field for each employee
•Two additional user set income adjustment fields (total of seven).
•Three additional user set paycheck deduction fields (total of ten).
•>2% S Corp Shareholder Insurance processing and reporting.
•IRS Forms 940, 941, 941B, 943, and 944 - Manually fill in forms, prepare zero wage forms, and include paid preparer information.
•The Backup process will backup all Medlin data found on your list of data folders (the list you see when you click the Medlin Software shortcut on your desktop).
•Reports - Payroll Checks (Batch) - Paychecks be saved in CSV format.
•Direct deposited pay may be split between two bank accounts.
•The Professional Edition requires regular internet access to check for and install updates.
